About
Adairsville

Adairsville is a quiet community where everybody knows your name. Steeped in history and charm, Adairsville began as an Indian settlement and played a strategic role in supply lines for the Civil War. Its largest festival, “The Locomotive Chase” celebrates the town’s role in an historic train robbery between the North and the South during the civil war.

Adairsville is home to a robust and peaceful community of farms and ranches with wide open spaces and picturesque views around every curve. Manning Mill is its largest park with several sports facilities. In downtown, you’ll find antique shops, a dinner theater, and an original W&A Rail Depot. Adairsville is also home to the magnificent Barnsley Resort. It is conveniently located close to larger towns of Calhoun and Cartersville, which boast more shopping, museums, restaurants and entertainment.
